Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB)

The Community Pharmacy Provider Board (CPPB) is the board within the GM Integrated Care Partnership Governance structure that represents Community Pharmacy in Greater Manchester. CPPB consists of membership from CHL and Community Pharmacy Greater Manchester, and work closely with the NHS regional team in GM.

CPPB collaborates with wider Primary Care via the Primary Care Board to represent, transform, and deliver new models of care, to meet local health population needs and support live well and neighbourhoods.

CPPB has been working with Health Innovation Manchester to rollout the GM Care Record, enabling full access to patient records to support the delivery of CPCF and future clinical services, such as Independent Prescribing, Live Well, and Prevention.

Key Projects

The following projects have been supported by funding secured via CPPB

This funding has enabled HLP Leadership and Champion Training for Community Pharmacy teams in Greater Manchester.

CPPB has purchased the VirtualOutcomes Licence for the GM Healthcare Academy, to grant all Greater Manchester contractors free access to the extensive online library of training resources.

Pharmacy Excellence is a structured programme aimed at helping community pharmacies optimise their operations, improve efficiency, and unlock new growth opportunities. By participating, pharmacies can enhance workflow management, strengthen team performance, and offer better services to patients.
