The service in GM was commissioned by GMHSCP. It relaunched April 2021 and ended June 2023.

Beyond CYP run a Children's Inhaler Check Service in Cheshire and Mersey that launched in March 2023.

Beyond CYP have reviewed the Placebo device requirements for their service and have confirmed that the minimum requirement is for an MDI Steroid/Ventolin inhaler and a spacer. For support ordering please contact

The Primary Care Respiratory Academy has been developed and produced by Cogora, working in partnership with the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK (PCRS-UK)  with endorsement from the British Lung Foundation. Cogora publish Pulse, Nursing in Practice and Healthcare Leader. The initiative is supported by funding from Pfizer, on behalf of the Novartis-Pfizer Alliance, and from Napp Pharmaceuticals.
